World Heritage UK is recruiting for an exciting new role
Salary £27,000 per annum (0.6 pro rata of £45,000 per annum)

World Heritage UK, is an organisation set up in 2015 to undertake networking, advocacy and promotion for the UK’s 32 outstanding World Heritage Sites.
World Heritage Sites are places from all around the world that are considered so important for the shared understanding and future of our planet we should look after them forever. There are more than 1000 Sites globally, some are natural like the Great Barrier Reef or the Serengeti, and many are man-made like Stonehenge or the Taj Mahal. World Heritage Sites are identified by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), but looked after locally.
The post arises out of a recently completed resilience project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and will provide an opportunity for someone who has a background in heritage and business development to manage the day to day operations and help shape the organisation for a secure future.
The successful applicant will need to show excellent administrative ability, a commitment to our mission and the ability to inspire our volunteers, both on the Board, and in the individual World Heritage Sites. You will need to have high level interpersonal skills with a collaborative style. A proven track record of delivery though collaboration and developing partnerships inside the organisation as well as maintaining good relationships with external partners, including Historic England, Government Departments and ICOMOS UK. You will have a successful record of fund raising.
You will manage the organisation on a day to day basis, leading the creation of conferences, webinars, meetings and events.
We are looking for someone with relevant graduate level qualifications or extensive operational experience.
The salary offered is £27,000 (£45,000 pro rata) for a three day working week, working from home, on a two year contract
