World Heritage Webinars – Industrial Heritage Season Two # 2: Pontcysyllte

The second in a series of four webinars, that will showcase Industrial World Heritage Sites from across the UK.
This second webinar will focus on Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal World Heritage Site in Wales. The webinar will start with an introduction from Claire Farrell, Project Director at Glandwr Cymru, the Canal and River Trust in Wales, followed by an in-depth look at the aqueduct’s heritage with Dr Peter Wakelin, writer and curator specialising in built heritage and visual art.
For the Q&A, Claire and Peter will be joined by:
Graham Greasley, writer and historian; Keith Sinclair, Community Councilor, Secretary of Froncysyllte Community Centre and Chair of the WHS Placemaking Project Community Advisory Group; and Sara Perera-Hammond, World Heritage Site Coordinator, Architect and Regeneration Project Manager at Wrexham County Borough Council.
