April 6, 2016 Published by Beth Thomas

The second annual World Heritage UK Conference will take place in Caernarfon from the 10th-11th October 2016. The press release by the Welsh Government can be found here: http://gov.wales/newsroom/cultureandsport/2016/11075722/?lang=en

Caernarfon is part of the Castles and Walled Towns of King Edward in Gwynedd, one of the UK’s 29 World Heritage Sites. It will coincide with Caernarfon Castle’s hosting of the Weeping Window poppy display, originally located at the Tower of London, which form part of the commemorations marking the centenary of the First World War.

Diary date! More details of the conference will follow in due course.
