Nominations for Appointment to the Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is reviewed each year.

Two Trustees have resigned from the Board, they are Anna Brennand and Nicola Lowery.

In accordance with the Constitution one appointment was made during the year. In July Graham U’ren was appointed by the Board to be a Trustee. Graham lives and has worked extensively in Scotland and his appointment fulfils the aspiration of the CIO to include Trustees who represent all the home nations.

The Charity Trustees retire by rotation. They shall be those who have been longest in office since the last appointment or re-appointment.  There are three Trustee who fall in to this category; they are Tony Crouch, Don Gobbett and Rebecca Hartley. Together with Graham U’ren they will stand down from the Board, and offer themselves for re- appointment.

There will be one remaining vacancy on the Board.

Nominations are invited from anyone who is a representative of an organisation which is a Member of the CIO or is an Individual Member. If you are interested in helping to manage the affairs and further the purposes of World Heritage UK, and in particular if you have accounting skills or financial competence and/or marketing skills, then we would be pleased to hear from you.

Please provide details of your name, any particular skills that you can bring to the Board, and a contact email address to [email protected]

The appointment will take place by election at the AGM to be held at Llangollen on Monday 7th October.
