4.30 – 5.30pm – WHUK’s Chris Blandford OBE FLI in conversation, chaired by Olivia Grace Smith.

As part of Durham Castle & Cathedral WHS‘ 40th Anniversary, WHUK’s President is taking part in an informal fireside chat, and will speak around World Heritage in the UK, Durham’s World Heritage status and its significance now. Chris will also speak about his experience as a Castle student and his career path in the heritage sector. This will be of interest to students considering their next career steps.

Olivia is a Castle JCR Senior Student and current International Cultural Heritage Management MA student at Durham.

Chris is not only WHUK President but a World Heritage specialist, Master Planner, landscape architect and Durham University alumnus.
