How to “Follow” the http://worldheritageuk.org website blog
In order to keep up to date with World Heritage UK events and news, or general news about our World Heritage Sites, the best way is to “Follow” the new website. This means that whenever there is a new post about events or a news item, you get an email telling you about it (and we promise that we won’t be filling your inbox).
I have been told that “following” in this way has proved a problem for some, particularly Outlook users, so here are some instructions:
1) Open the home page http://worldheritageuk.org, and in the bottom right of your screen will appear a small blue FOLLOW box with a plus sign on it. You may need to scroll down in order to se it
2) Click that and then complete your email address then submit it.
3) You will then receive an email from us in which you need to click the button that says CONFIRM FOLLOW. If this works and takes you to a “manage subscriptions” page, great, you are done, but if it doesn’t do anything, please do the following step: In Outlook, If you look at the top of the confirmation message Outlook will say “click here to ‘view in browser’.” Please do that and then press CONFIRM FOLLOW once you see the message in the browser, and the link will work.
Good luck and thanks.
